Our Week in the Florida Keys .................................

Back in the Spring, Joel and I purchased a "Week in the Florida Keys" at the Unity Christian School Charity Auction . We decided to go last week since Will was out of Preschool for the fall break that the county takes. We flew down Monday on Airtran and it was the BEST flying experience I have ever had. That's saying a lot because it was the first time we'd ever flown with Will.

This attachment for his Car seat is call the Go Go Kidz. It was the BEST investment we've made in a loooong time. It attaches to his car seat and we could roll him around the airport. Since he had to fly in the car seat and we needed when we got to Florida, this made it super easy! I will say that We were by far the coolest parents in the whole Airport and on the going and return flights home, we had no less than 15 people OOOh, AAAH and ask us where we got it. AND, we didn't have to detach it for the flight or while we were in Florida, we just installed the seat into our car and went.

Will was the best little flyer ever. He fell asleep about 2 minutes after take off. YES, Will still sleeps with his paci.
When we got to Fort Lauderdale (cheaper than flying to Miami or Key West), we rented a Chevy Impala and headed south. We stayed Here and loved it. It had a private beach and Will loved digging in the sand. The beach had little trees on it, so there was a lot of shade& best of all, No sunburn for Us!!

We were litterally the only people on the beach. This is the off season in the keys, so there were mostly only locals down there. We stuck out like sore thumbs, but it was great because it was not crowded.

While in the keys, We went to Key West and did all the great tourist stuff. We rode a tour train which will Loved and we went to Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville which I loved!

OKAY, now for all of our friends in family who live in this area, we would like to appologize for not calling or visiting. We flew in and then headed to the keys and didn't come back until Friday morning when we.............................................................
