Pow Wow 2007

Little Chief tell Big Chief, "we have pow wow today" I totally LOVE the indians on Peter Pan. Today, was kind of like that.

Will's pre-school had a PowWow & Thanksgiving feast today. It was cute as could be. Each child had to tell what they were Thankful for and then it was also written on a feather and stuck in their head dress. Will was thankful for.... "my baby" " my mom and dad" " Cowboys and John Deere Toys" and "Freddie, my imaginary Friend" Yep, it was right there for all the world to read about on his head dress. The kids all had to sit in a semi-circle and sing songs and then the Teacher asked what they were thankful for. Will just happened to be first in Line and he said he was thankful for "cowboys!". Now the irony here is that he was dressed as an Indian at the time. Oh, and my prayer that he always be a leader among his peers and not a follower was evidently answered as at least 90% of the other boys and even some of the girls also announced that they too were thankful for Cowboys. He's been talking about it all week & I know why now. It was F-U-N!
