Lobster Fest 2008.....Location: Our House

I've mentioned before that we are working with the College students at Church. Well, some of these girls who live in other states have some really sweet parents, and by sweet I mean they send really good stuff for them to eat. The only problem is that the dorms aren't exactly equipped to cook said delicacies, so we of course offer up our house as long as we can share in eating. Over the past 5 months we've had Omaha Steaks, Ribs shipped in From Missouri-double yum, and this week Fresh Maine Lobster. Two of the girls from Berry, Emma & Kate, are both from Bath, Maine. Tuesday, Emma's parents literally got 12 live Lobsters as they were coming off a boat, boxed them up & over nighted them to her so we could eat Lobster for Joel's Birthday. These poor doomed lobsters were swimming happily in the Atlantic & less than 24 hrs later, Emma & Kate were steaming them in my kitchen. That's just crazy to me. Anyway, Will liked the lobsters as long as they were not close to him, Ava knows no fear, so she touched them.

After dinner, the girls cleaned up the kitchen, you know because if you cook it, you clean it up. Anyway, a soap fight between Emma and Will ensued and Will was soaked. Then Kate put his hair in a Mohawk.
