Waaay back on May 4, We went to Chattavegas for the Day out With Thomas at the Tennessee Valley Railroad. Back in March, we went to Drew Madden's 3rd Birthday Party. Drew is obsessed with Thomas stuff and he got a lot for his birthday. Well, when we got home, Will got out the 3 or 4 Thomas Trains he had and he hasn't put them up since. It's safe to say that Will is also now obsessed with Thomas stuff. We now have a track set up in the play room. We have added many more trains and a station or two, and he talks about those trains all the time. So, I saw in the paper or somewhere that the Day out With Thomas was coming to Chattanooga and I bought tickets. We did not tell Will where we were going until we were there. It was an interesting journey to say the least. We got all the way to Dalton and realized that I had forgotten to get the tickets. So, we had to turn around and drive all the way back into town where we met Pop, who had gone by our house and gotten them for us. We decided we drive till we met each other. Then we had to drive all the way back. This one hour 15 min. drive took over 2 hours and Will was not very happy. But, we made it with a few minutes to spare. The train ride was fun, short, but fun. Will would disagree that 25 minutes is NOT short, but it really seemed to go by faster. They also had pictures with characters, but the lines were soooooooooo long. Will said he didn't want to stand in them. They had some play tables to set up, and it was ok, but not great because it's hard to play with a toy that 15 other kids are trying to get their grubby hands on. When it was our turn to ride a real train, Will freaked out and started crying.
After we rode the train, we drove downtown, ate, walked and looked at the river , played in the fountains outside of the aquarium and came back home. Will loves going to Chattanooga because of the many fun things to do there. A few days ago, we were discussing going to Disney World maybe in the fall or next spring. I told him it was the "Most Fun Place on the Face of the Earth" to which Will replied, "even more fun than Chatatanooga????"

Yes, tell Will that Disney World is way more fun than Chattanooga. If he doesn't believe me, tell him to ask Gracie. We just got back from our second trip this past May and Gracie loved every minute of both trips!!
