Since we have gotten to know the Berry Soccer Girls, Emma, Lindsey, Kim, and Courtney have become 4 of Will's favorite people. They also talk to him about Soccer.... A Lot. At the beginning of April, we went to the Berry Spring game and Will got to watch them all Play and so he told me he wanted to play soccer and he kicked around his Scooby Doo ball for a while. He isn't old enough to officially play, but the YMCA has a class for 3 and 4 yr olds to learn the basics. Will LOVES it. Today, I bought Will some cleats, shin pads and soccer socks and some orange cones to make the boundry lines for his playing field. He played on the back porch for a while b/c it was raining and then he brought it inside and yes, I let him kick a soccer ball in the house. Anyway, here are some pictures from his very first soccer practice. If the Berry girls have anything to do with it, Will is going to be the best soccer player in town. It helps to have connections at three years old.
